Just saw the reviews of the newly released BMW i7 EV and gotta say, my curiosity is piqued! Coming from an EQS, I was torn between Lucid, Rivian, and this one. Admittedly, the lack of frunk and that grille design pushed me towards the GT - gotta prioritize range and performance, you know? But gotta give it up to BMW, their driver assistance features look seriously impressive. Anyone else checking out the i7?

Your choice of the GT for range and performance is understandablebut I'm eager to see how the i7 performs in everyday use. The rear "Theater Screen" is also a very interesting feature. Has anyone actually driven one yet? I'm really looking forward to hearing what people think.

I drove it last weeknd. The driver assistance is worth the price in my opinion. Also, the lane changing feels smooth. I can't compare it to EQS because I haven't driven one.

I have had the 2025 i7 60 drive for 3 months now. Coming from a 2023 iX so having a front is no issue for me. So far in mild weather car is getting 300 miles on a full charge. Didn’t get the back theater because I am always driving. Traded in the iX and was able to pay 3 year lease. After the iX I’ll never buy an electric car again. The technology changes to quick. Leasing is the way to go. The i7 is the best car I’ve ever driven.
