Exploring my BMW i7 theater screen connectivity

I’ve ordered my BMW i7 with the 6FR "BMW Theater Screen" and its 5G eSim but currently use a 4G LTE iPhone 11 with unlimited data. Can my iPhone handle streaming Netflix or Hulu, or will I need the eSim and possibly pay extra fees like the $20/month BMW Magenta plan? I’m wondering if upgrading my phone would make this feature worthwhile.

An eSIM is like a SIM card for your i7. It lets your car connect to the internet. You need to activate it to use it.
