I can't wait to get my brand-new 760i! Does anyone know if this model's exhaust system has valves and if it opens up in sport mode? Any information would be very helpful!

Yeah there are valves in the 760i's exhaust system, and they do open up, particularly in sport mode or at higher RPMs, typically between 3 and 4k. Nevertheless, regardless of the driving mode, the valves won't remain open all the time.

Pulling the fuse or unplugging the valve actuator while it's open are two possible workarounds if you want to keep them open all the time. But hey note that even with a cold start, it can be challenging to fully open the valves when the vehicle is not moving.

Hey thanks for the tips. I didn't think of that. I haven't gone back to the manual either so I'll go try this out.

It takes two or more people to do the job. You'll need someone to hold the car in launch control while the other person disconnects the vacuum line from the valve. It worked on my 740i. I heard that a G70 sounds like an M car if you do this.
