If you have an I7 with 19” wheels, you probably have Yokohama Advan Sport V107 tires. If you have driven over less than ribbon smooth roads at highway speeds, you have probably experienced the horrible ROAR that these tires make that enters the passenger cabin.
You have probably also noticed the severe Tire Cavity Resonance Noise that these tires make, that BONG, BONG, BONG sort of a “rubber playground bouncing ball” noise.
Yokohama has a website where you can contact them. I strongly suggest that you give them a piece of your mind on these truly DEFECTIVE tires and ask them to RECALL them. It will take you five minutes.
Our I7’s are supposed to be nearly SILENT. Those with the 20” & 21” wheels with different tires don’t seem to have this problem.
