Hey everyone,

I've been noticing some excessive wind noise coming from my driver's side window on my BMW i7. It's really starting to bother me, especially on highway drives. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any tips on how to fix it or reduce the noise?

Lately, I’ve been driving with the stereo off and finally realized something. There’s this constant wind noise I’d never noticed before. At first, I thought maybe I left the windows cracked or something, but nope, it’s definitely the wind. It's getting pretty annoying.

Try checking if the window seal is intact or needs adjustment.

i had the same problem.
the dealer adjusted the window but makes no difference in sound but at least it stopped leaking air. Turns out that I do not have the package that gives you laminated glass on all windows. the solution is to change the front side windows to this type of glass. Cost around U$ 800 per window plus mounting cost, also around 800 per window. That solved the problem. Have the parts numbers if you need them.

Wind noise can sometimes be caused by the side mirror’s design creating turbulence near the window. I’ve seen this in a few luxury cars. If your seals and alignment check out, you might consider adding wind deflectors or discussing this with the dealer. They may have updates or solutions for noise reduction, especially if others have reported similar issues.
